1. Overnight Care
Overnight care ensures you can take your rest while having help by your side. Our caregiver will be able to support you with different activities, like vitals monitoring on a regular basis (blood pressure, blood sugar tests, oxygen levels and temperature), administering medication, dressing, getting in and out of bed, repositioning in bed, using the restroom and any other activity needed throughout the night.
2. Day Care
During the day, you may have very many activities that you need to do. Our care giving during the day offers you the support you need for a few hours every day, based on your needs. Our caregiver will be able to assist with daily tasks so that you can focus on your healing/rest. This may include dressing, grooming e.g. bathing, assisting with muscle and joint exercises for the bed-ridden, daily basking and accompanying the patient to doctor’s appointments. The support required will be detailed in your caregiving plan according to your needs.
3. Live-in Care
This involves a caregiver living in your home, 24 hours a day for the days in which you have agreed to help and support you in your daily full-day routine. Which may include and not limited to personal care like assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal plans, exercise and when necessary assist with mobility in getting around the home or away from home. Administering medication according to the patients care plan as well as companionship and emotional support.
4. Post-Surgery Care
To heal post-surgery, comfort and assistance is crucial at home. It promotes your recovery after surgery by managing pain, cardiovascular stability, maintaining fluid balance, providing wound care, monitoring bowel function, assisting with mobility and preventing complications. We are happy to be a part of your journey as you get better after your surgery, we ensure that all the medication is dispensed accordingly and a healthy meal plan is maintained for a quick recovery.
5. Terminal Illness
These illnesses include but not limited to, cancer, kidney failure, covid-19, neurodegenerative diseases as well as alzheimer’s and dementia. We will be able to draft a plan for you, with your need in mind, on whether you will require, Live-in Care, Day Care or Overnight Care to allow you to heal and be at your most comfortable state despite your illness.
6. Post Injury-Accident Care-Disability Care
We will provide the support needed both physically and mentally to help you or your loved one’s healing journey. The Caregiving plan will have details of what kind of support is required based on your special needs.
7. Doctors’ Appointments
Our caregivers can serve a variety of important functions during the doctor’s appointment; they will escort you for doctor’s visits and assist in filling out paperwork, assist with physical tasks such as undressing and climbing onto an exam table.
They also facilitate communication efforts where necessary especially with the elderly and patients with speech or memory challenge.
Using a care plan, caregivers will record all details of the patients health status and progress to date and brief the doctor as well as take new health status updates during the visit.
